Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;


Going on a little further, he saw James  the son of Zebedee  and his brother John  in a boat putting their nets in order.


and so were James and John, Zebedee’s sons, who were Simon’s partners. ‘Don’t be afraid,’   Jesus told Simon. ‘From now on you will be catching people.’


Philip found Nathanael  and told him, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law (and so did the prophets  ): Jesus the son of Joseph,  from Nazareth.’


Then Thomas  (called ‘Twin’  ) said to his fellow disciples, ‘Let’s go too so that we may die with him.’


On the third day a wedding took place in Cana  of Galilee.  Jesus’s mother  was there,


Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana  of Galilee.  He revealed  his glory,  and his disciples believed in him.


Thomas responded to him, ‘My Lord and my God! ’


He went again to Cana  of Galilee, where he had turned the water into wine. There was a certain royal official whose son was ill at Capernaum.
