And Noah did this. He did everything that God had commanded him.


Moses did everything just as the Lord had commanded him.


Without revelation  , people run wild, but one who follows divine instruction will be happy.


The Lord said to me, ‘Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem: “Obey the words of this covenant and carry them out.”


I will place my Spirit within you  and cause you to follow my statutes and carefully observe my ordinances.


For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.’


He said, ‘Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God   and keep it.’


You are my friends if you do what I command you.


For the hearers of the law  are not righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified.


For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith  working through love.


But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom and perseveres in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer who works #– #this person will be blessed in what he does.


So it is sin to know the good and yet not do it.


‘Blessed   are those who wash their robes,   so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates.
