On that day, each of you will invite his neighbour to sit under his vine and fig tree.’  This is the declaration of the Lord of Armies.


‘Go into the city to a certain man,’ he said, ‘and tell him, “The Teacher says: My time is near; I am celebrating the Passover at your place   with my disciples.” ’


Jesus stopped and said, ‘Call him.’ So they called the blind man and said to him, ‘Have courage!  Get up; he’s calling for you.’


Wherever he enters, tell the owner of the house, “The Teacher   says, ‘Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples? ’ ”


Tell the owner of the house, “The Teacher asks you, ‘Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover with my disciples? ’ ”


He first found his own brother Simon and told him, ‘We have found the Messiah’  , (which is translated ‘the Christ’),


Philip found Nathanael  and told him, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law (and so did the prophets  ): Jesus the son of Joseph,  from Nazareth.’


The gatekeeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.


As soon as Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went to meet him, but Mary remained seated in the house.


As soon as Mary heard this, she got up quickly and went to him.


Jesus had not yet come into the village but was still in the place where Martha had met him.


You call me Teacher and Lord #– #and you are speaking rightly, since that is what I am.


Jesus said to her, ‘Mary.’ Turning around, she said to him in Aramaic,  ‘Rabboni! ’  #– #which means ‘Teacher.’


The disciple, the one Jesus loved, said to Peter, ‘It is the Lord! ’ When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tied his outer clothing round him (for he had taken it off) and plunged into the sea.


Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.


Therefore, strengthen your tired hands and weakened knees,
