I will say to God, ‘Do not declare me guilty! Let me know why you prosecute me.


Can anyone indict me? If so, I will be silent and die.


Why do you take   him to court for not answering anything a person asks?


God does not need to examine a person further, that one should  approach him in court.


Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who argues with God give an answer.


I have spoken once, and I will not reply; twice, but now I can add nothing.


How then can I answer him or choose my arguments against him?


Even if I were in the right, my own mouth would condemn me; if I were blameless, my mouth would declare me guilty.


On the contrary, who are you, a human being, to talk back to God?  Will what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this? ’


If we say, ‘We have no sin,’  we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.


whenever our hearts condemn us; for God is greater than our hearts, and he knows all things.
