For then you would count my steps but would not take note   of my sin.


His anger tears at me, and he harasses   me. He gnashes his teeth at me. My enemy pierces me with his eyes.


So Satan left the Lord’s presence and infected Job with terrible boils from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.


Why is life given to a man whose path is hidden, whom God has hedged in?


He puts my feet in the stocks; he stands watch  over all my paths.’
