But he said, ‘Why go to him today? It’s not a New Moon or a Sabbath.’ She replied, ‘It’s all right.’


The Lord will make himself known to Egypt, and Egypt will know the Lord on that day. They will offer sacrifices and offerings;  they will make vows to the Lord and fulfil them.


On that day there will be a road  from Egypt to Assyria. Assyria will go to Egypt, Egypt to Assyria, and Egypt will worship with Assyria.


In  the last days the mountain of the  Lord’s house  will be established at the top of the mountains and will be raised above the hills. All nations will stream to it,


On that day a great ram’s horn  will be blown, and those lost in the land of Assyria will come, as well as those dispersed in the land of Egypt; and they will worship the  Lord at Jerusalem on the holy mountain.


This is what the  Lord, the Redeemer  of Israel, his Holy One, says to one who is despised, to one abhorred by people,  , to a servant of rulers: ‘Kings will see, princes will stand up, and they  will all bow down because of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel   #– #and he has chosen you.’


For on my holy mountain, Israel’s high mountain #– #the declaration of the Lord God  #– #there the entire house of Israel, all of them,  will serve me in the land. There I will accept them and will require your contributions and choicest gifts,  all your holy offerings.


Then the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings for the festivals, New Moons, and Sabbaths #– #for all the appointed times of the house of Israel #– #will be the prince’s responsibility. He will provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings, and fellowship offerings to make atonement on behalf of the house of Israel.


‘This is what the Lord God says: The gate of the inner court that faces east is to be closed during the six days of work, but it will be opened on the Sabbath day  and opened on the day of the New Moon.


On the day of the New Moon, the burnt offering is to be a young, unblemished bull, as well as six lambs and a ram without blemish.


Judah will also fight at Jerusalem, and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected: gold, silver, and clothing in great abundance.


Then all the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord of Armies, and to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.


And if the people  of Egypt will not go up and enter, then rain will not fall on them; this will be the plague the Lord inflicts on the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.


This will be the punishment of Egypt and all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.


‘My name will be great among the nations,  from the rising of the sun to its setting. Incense  and pure offerings will be presented in my name in every place because my name will be great among the nations,’  says the Lord of Armies.


But an hour is coming, and is now here,   when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth.   Yes, the Father wants such people to worship him.


Lord, who will not fear and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All the nations will come and worship before you because your righteous acts have been revealed.
