When you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then go out to battle, for God will have gone out ahead of you to strike down the army of the Philistines.’


Here is how you must eat it: You must be dressed for travel,  your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in a hurry; it is the Lord’s Passover.


Now the Egyptians pressured the people in order to send them quickly out of the country, for they said, ‘We’re all going to die! ’


The people baked the dough they had brought out of Egypt into unleavened loaves, since it had no yeast; for when they were driven  out of Egypt, they could not delay and had not prepared provisions for themselves.


The Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the Israelites, who were going out defiantly.  ,


The path of the righteous is level; you clear a straight path for the righteous.


Therefore the Lord God said: ‘Look, I have laid a stone  in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will be unshakable.  ,


I will lead the blind by a way they did not know; I will guide them on paths they have not known. I will turn darkness to light in front of them and rough places into level ground. This is what I will do for them, and I will not abandon them.


‘I will go before you and level the uneven places;  , I will shatter the bronze doors and cut the iron bars in two.


They will not hunger or thirst, the scorching heat or sun will not strike them; for their compassionate one will guide them, and lead them to springs.


I will make all my mountains into a pathway, and my roads will be raised up.


The prisoner  is soon to be set free; he will not die and go to the Pit, and his food will not be lacking.


I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and his mourners,


Then your light will appear like the dawn, and your recovery will come quickly. Your righteousness will go before you, and the Lord’s glory will be your rear guard.


One who breaks open the way will advance before them; they will break out, pass through the city gate, and leave by it. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord as their leader.


The military divisions of the camp of Dan’s descendants with their banner set out, serving as rear guard for all the camps, and Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai  was over their divisions.


Do not eat leavened bread with it.  For seven days you are to eat unleavened bread with it, the bread of hardship #– #because you left the land of Egypt in a hurry   #– #so that you may remember for the rest of your life the day you left the land of Egypt.


For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you  against your enemies to give you victory.”


and after everyone had finished crossing, the priests with the ark of the Lord crossed in the sight of the people.


While the rams’ horns were blowing, the armed men went in front of the priests who blew the rams’ horns, and the rear guard went behind the ark.


Then Deborah said to Barak, ‘Go! This is the day the Lord has handed Sisera over to you. Hasn’t the Lord gone before you? ’ So Barak came down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him.
