‘This  is my servant;  I strengthen him, this is my chosen one;  I delight in him. I have put my Spirit on him; he will bring justice  to the nations.


He will not break a bruised reed, and he will not put out a smouldering wick; he will faithfully bring justice.


Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout in triumph, Daughter Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you; he is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.


Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,   because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.


When he was  asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come,  he answered them, ‘The kingdom of God is not coming with something observable;


The Lord’s  servant must not quarrel,  but must be gentle to everyone, able to teach,  and patient,


when he was insulted, he did not insult in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten but entrusted himself to the one who judges  justly.
