All these officials of yours will come down to me and bow before me, saying: Get out, you and all the people who follow you.  After that, I will get out.’ And he went out from Pharaoh’s presence fiercely angry.


Now at midnight the Lord struck every firstborn male in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the prisoner who was in the dungeon, and every firstborn of the livestock.


But if you will carefully obey him and do everything I say, then I will be an enemy  to your enemies and a foe to your foes.


The nations rage like the rumble of a huge torrent. He rebukes them, and they flee far away, driven before the wind like chaff on the hills and like tumbleweeds before a gale.


Your many foes  will be like fine dust, and many of the ruthless, like blowing chaff. Then suddenly, in an instant,


All the many nations going out to battle against Ariel – all the attackers, the siege works against her, and those who oppress her – will then be like a dream, a vision in the night.


It will be like a hungry one who dreams he is eating, then wakes and is still hungry; and like a thirsty one who dreams he is drinking, then wakes and is still thirsty, longing for water. So it will be for all the many nations who go to battle against Mount Zion.


No nobles will be left to proclaim a king, and all her princes will come to nothing.


All the nations are as nothing before him; they are considered by him as empty nothingness.


‘Speak tenderly to   Jerusalem, and announce to her that her time of hard service is over, her iniquity  has been pardoned, and she has received from the  Lord’s hand double for all her sins.’


Look, you are nothing and your work is worthless. Anyone who chooses you is detestable.


Look, all of them are a delusion; their works are non-existent; their images are wind and emptiness.


It will be said about me, “Righteousness and strength are found only in the  Lord.” ’ All who are enraged against him will come to him and be put to shame.


For this is what the  Lord  says: ‘Even the captives of a mighty man will be taken, and the prey of a tyrant will be delivered; I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your children.


I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, and they will be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. Then all humanity will know that I, the Lord, am your Saviour, and your Redeemer,  the Mighty One of Jacob.’


If anyone attacks you, it is not from me; whoever attacks you will fall before you.


No weapon formed against you will succeed, and you will refute any accusation raised against you in court. This is the heritage of the  Lord’s servants, and their vindication is from me.’ This is the  Lord’s declaration.


However, if they will not obey, then I will uproot and destroy that nation.’ This is the Lord’s declaration.


Israel was holy to the  Lord, the firstfruits of his harvest. All who ate of it found themselves guilty; disaster came on them.’ This is the  Lord’s declaration.


All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and he does what he wants  with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can block his hand or say to him, ‘What have you done? ’


On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who try to lift it will injure themselves severely when all the nations of the earth gather against her.


So they came to appease them, and escorting them from prison, they urged them to leave town.


Note this: I will make those from the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews and are not, but are lying #– #I will make them come and bow down at your feet,   and they will know that I have loved you.
