Listen closely, Lord, and hear; open your eyes, Lord, and see.  Hear the words that Sennacherib has sent to mock the living God.


Now, my God, please let your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayer of this place.

because the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do what is evil.
