When Esau looked up and saw the women and children, he asked, ‘Who are these with you? ’ He answered, ‘The children God has graciously given your servant.’


And Joseph said to his father, ‘They are my sons God has given me here.’ So Israel said, ‘Bring them to me and I will bless them.’


my God,  my rock where I seek refuge. My shield, the horn of my salvation,  my stronghold,  my refuge, and my Saviour, you save me from violence.


Indeed, God is my salvation; I will trust him and not be afraid, for the Lord, the  Lord  himself, is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation.’


Yet the Lord was pleased  to crush him severely.  , When  you make him a guilt offering, he will see his seed, he will prolong his days, and by his hand the Lord’s pleasure will be accomplished.


He trusts in God; let God rescue him now #– #if he takes pleasure in him!  For he said, “I am the Son of God.’ ”


My Father,   who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.


For you may have countless instructors in Christ, but you don’t have many fathers. For I became your father  in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
