Sacrifice a bull as a sin offering each day for atonement. Purify  the altar when you make atonement for it, and anoint it in order to consecrate it.


‘What are all your sacrifices to me? ’ asks the Lord. ‘I have had enough of burnt offerings and rams and the fat of well-fed cattle; I have no desire for the blood of bulls, lambs, or male goats.


It will be a holy area of the land to be used by the priests who minister in the sanctuary, who approach to serve the Lord.  It will be a place for their houses, as well as a holy area for the sanctuary.


His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. They will abolish the regular sacrifice  and set up the abomination of desolation.


From the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation  is set up,  there will be 1,290 days.


It acted arrogantly  even against the Prince of the heavenly army;  it revoked his regular sacrifice  and overthrew the place of his sanctuary.


while I was praying, Gabriel,  the man I had seen in the first vision,  reached me in my extreme weariness, about the time of the evening offering.


He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing  of the temple  , until the decreed destruction


What should I bring before the  Lord when I come to bow before God on high? Should I come before him with burnt offerings, with year-old calves?


You are to offer the same food each day for seven days as a food offering,  a pleasing aroma to the Lord. It is to be offered with its drink offering and the regular burnt offering.


And say to them: This is the food offering you are to present to the Lord: ‘Each day present two unblemished year-old male lambs as a regular burnt offering.


These are in addition to the monthly and regular burnt offerings with their prescribed grain offerings and drink offerings. They are a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord.


Since the law has only a shadow of the good things  to come, and not the reality itself of those things, it can never perfect the worshippers by the same sacrifices they continually offer year after year.


For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.


For every high priest taken from among men is appointed in matters pertaining to God for the people, to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.


He doesn’t need to offer sacrifices every day, as high priests do #– #first for their own sins, then for those of the people. He did this once for all time when he offered himself.


a minister of the sanctuary and the true tabernacle that was set up by the Lord and not man.


Now if he were on earth, he wouldn’t be a priest, since there are those  offering the gifts prescribed by the law.
