The hearts of the people cry out to the Lord. Wall of Daughter Zion, let your tears run down like a river day and night. Give yourself no relief and your  eyes no rest.


He answered, ‘I tell you, if they were to keep silent, the stones would cry out.’


and to Jesus, the mediator  of a new covenant,  and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel.


And Joshua said to all the people, ‘You see this stone #– #it will be a witness against us,  for it has heard all the words the Lord said to us, and it will be a witness against you, so that you will not deny your God.’


They cried out with a loud voice, ‘Lord,  the one who is holy and true,  how long until you judge those who live on the earth and avenge our blood?   ’
