Then he brought me to the north gate.  When he measured it, it had the same measurements as the others,


The Lord said to me, ‘This gate will remain closed. It will not be opened, and no one will enter through it, because the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered through it.  Therefore it will remain closed.


Then the man brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple. I looked, and the glory of the Lord filled his temple.  And I fell face down.


Then he brought me back to the entrance of the temple and there was water flowing from under the threshold of the temple towards the east, for the temple faced east. The water was coming down from under the south side of the threshold of the temple, south of the altar.


As the man went out east with a measuring line in his hand,  he measured off five hundred and thirty metres  and led me through the water. It came up to my ankles.
