Consecrate them and they will be especially holy. Whatever touches them will be consecrated.


Anoint the basin and its stand and consecrate it.


The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him   – a Spirit of wisdom and understanding, a Spirit of counsel and strength, a Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the  Lord.


The Spirit of the Lord God is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal  the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners;


It must not be baked with yeast; I have assigned it as their portion  from my food offerings.  It is especially holy, like the sin offering  and the guilt offering.


He sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times, anointing the altar with all its utensils, and the basin with its stand, to consecrate them.


The angel replied to her, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you,  and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.


I sanctify myself for them, so that they also may be sanctified by the truth.


For the one whom God sent speaks God’s words, since he  gives the Spirit  without measure.


It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us #– #our righteousness,  sanctification,  and redemption   #– #


He made the one who did not know sin  to be sin  for us,  so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.


For this is the kind of high priest we need: holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.
