Go to the king and speak these words to him.’ Then Joab told her exactly what to say.


He answered, ‘I will certainly be with you,  and this will be the sign to you that I am the one who sent you: when you bring the people out of Egypt, you will all worship  God at this mountain.’


Now go! I will help you speak  and I will teach you what to say.’


Moses told Aaron everything the Lord had sent him to say, and about all the signs he had commanded him to do.


Aaron repeated everything the Lord had said to Moses and performed the signs before the people.


I have put my words in your mouth, and covered you in the shadow of my hand, in order to plant  the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion, ‘You are my people.’


‘As for me, this is my covenant with them,’  says the Lord: ‘My Spirit who is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth,  will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of your children’s children, from now on and for ever,’ says the Lord.


Then the Lord reached out his hand, touched my mouth,  and told me: I have now filled your mouth with my words.


Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to Baruch son of Neriah, the scribe, and he wrote on it at Jeremiah’s dictation  all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim,  Judah’s king, had burned in the fire. And many other words like them were added.


Then Moses said, ‘This is how you will know that the Lord sent me  to do all these things and that it was not of my own will:


Balaam said to him, ‘Look, I have come to you, but can I say anything I want? I must speak only the message God puts in my mouth.’


He answered, ‘Shouldn’t I say exactly what the Lord puts in my mouth? ’


The Lord met with Balaam and put a message in his mouth. Then he said, ‘Return to Balak and say what I tell you.’


Then the Lord put a message in Balaam’s mouth and said, ‘Return to Balak and say what I tell you.’


teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember,   I am with you always,   to the end of the age.’


for I will give you such words   and a wisdom   that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.


For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you:  On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took bread,


Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you received, on which you have taken your stand


I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.


But you stand here with me, and I will tell you every command #– #the statutes and ordinances #– #you are to teach them, so that they may follow them in the land I am giving them to possess.”


Then invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will let you know what you are to do.  You are to anoint for me the one I indicate to you.’
