When I went out to the city gate and took my seat in the town square,


Then Jethro, Moses’s father-in-law, brought a burnt offering and sacrifices to God, and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat a meal with Moses’s father-in-law in God’s presence.


When Moses’s father-in-law saw everything he was doing for them he asked, ‘What is this you’re doing for the people? Why are you alone sitting as judge, while all the people stand around you from morning until evening? ’


a throne will be established in love, and one will sit on it faithfully in the tent of David, judging and pursuing what is right, quick to execute justice.


Let the nations be roused and come to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit down to judge all the surrounding nations.


‘The scribes and the Pharisees are seated in the chair of Moses.


if exhorting,  in exhortation; giving, with generosity;  leading,  with diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness.


And for this reason you pay taxes, since the authorities are God’s servants, continually attending to these tasks.


You who ride on white   donkeys, who sit on saddle blankets, and who travel on the road, give praise!
