It is enough for a disciple to become like his teacher and a slave like his master. If they called the head of the house “Beelzebul,” how much more the members of his household!


Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us work  for the good  of all, especially for those who belong to the household  of faith.


At that time you were without Christ, excluded from the citizenship of Israel, and foreigners to the covenants of promise,  without hope  and without God in the world.


from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named.


The Gentiles are co-heirs, members of the same body, and partners in the promise  in Christ Jesus through the gospel.


Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.


These all died in faith, although they had not received the things that were promised. But they saw them from a distance,  greeted them, and confessed that they were foreigners and temporary residents on the earth.


For we do not have an enduring city here; instead, we seek the one to come.


Dear friends, I urge you as strangers and exiles  to abstain  from sinful  desires that wage war against the soul.


See what great love  the Father has given us that we should be called God’s children #– #and we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it didn’t know him.
