No disaster overcomes the righteous, but the wicked are full of misery.


I walk in the ways of righteousness, along the paths of justice,


In the morning sow your seed, and at evening do not let your hand rest, because you don’t know which will succeed, whether one or the other, or if both of them will be equally good.


When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is this: fear God  and keep his commands, because this is for all  humanity.


I know that everything God does will last for ever; there is no adding to it or taking from it.  God works so that people will be in awe of him.


For many dreams bring futility; so do many words.  Therefore, fear God.


Although a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life,  I also know that it will go well with God-fearing people,  for they are reverent before him.


However, it will not go well with the wicked,  and they will not lengthen their days like a shadow,  for they are not reverent before God.


‘I will make a permanent covenant with them:  I will never turn away from doing good to them, and I will put fear of me in their hearts so that they will never again turn away from me.


But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings,  and you will go out and playfully jump like calves from the stall.


His mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear him.


‘But woe   to you Pharisees! You give a tenth   , of mint, rue, and every kind of herb, and you bypass   justice   and love for God.   , These things you should have done without neglecting the others.
