Jacob loved Rachel, so he answered Laban, ‘I’ll work for you seven years for your younger daughter Rachel.’


So Jacob worked seven years for Rachel, and they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her.


She conceived again, gave birth to a son, and said, ‘The Lord heard that I am neglected and has given me this son also.’ So she named him Simeon.


Rehoboam appointed Abijah son of Maacah as chief, leader among his brothers, intending to make him king.


when that man gives what he has to his sons as an inheritance, he is not to show favouritism to the son of the loved wife as his firstborn over the firstborn of the neglected wife.


He had two wives,  the first named Hannah  and the second Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah was childless.
