⁹ ‘You may eat everything from the water that has fins and scales,

⁹ These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:

⁹ These ye may eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales may ye eat;

⁹ Here’s a list of the water animals you are allowed to eat: you can eat anything that has fins and scales.

⁹ These you shall eat out of all that dwells in the waters: whatever has fins and scales, you shall eat.

⁹ These shall you eat of all that abide in the waters: All that have fins and scales you shall eat.

but you may not eat anything that does not have fins and scales #– #it is unclean for you.

and pigs, though they have hooves, they do not chew the cud – they are unclean for you. Do not eat their meat or touch their carcasses.
