And who is like your people Israel? God came to one nation on earth in order to redeem a people for himself, to make a name for himself, and to perform for them  great and awesome acts,  driving out nations and their gods before your people you redeemed for yourself from Egypt.


The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.


And the Lord responded, ‘Look, I am making a covenant. In the presence of all your people I will perform wonders that have never been done  in the whole earth or in any nation. All the people you live among will see the Lord’s work, for what I am doing with you is awe-inspiring.


The sun will no longer be your light by day, and the brightness of the moon will not shine on you. The Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your splendour.


When you did awesome works that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains quaked at your presence.


Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for you are my praise.


a light for revelation to the Gentiles  , and glory to your people Israel.


The Lord drove out before us all the peoples, including the Amorites who lived in the land. We too will worship the Lord, because he is our God.’


The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.


Above all, fear the Lord and worship him faithfully with all your heart; consider the great things he has done for you.
