My heart  pounds at this and leaps from my chest.


I am my love’s, and his desire  is for me.


Even if these three men   #– #Noah,  Daniel,  and Job   #– #were in it, they would rescue only themselves by their righteousness.’ This is the declaration of the Lord God.


He said to me, ‘Son of man, stand up on your feet  and I will speak with you.’


He said, ‘Don’t be afraid,  you who are  treasured by God.  Peace to you; be very strong! ’ As he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, ‘Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.’


I didn’t eat any rich food,  no meat or wine entered my mouth, and I didn’t put any oil on my body until the three weeks were over.

So Peter turned round and saw the disciple Jesus loved  following them, the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and asked, ‘Lord, who is the one that’s going to betray you? ’


But get up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.


‘But get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.’
