A drought will come on her waters, and they will be dried up. For it is a land of carved images, and they go mad because of terrifying things.  ,


Then Herod, when he realised that he had been outwitted by the wise men, flew into a rage. He gave orders to massacre all the boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under, in keeping with the time he had learned from the wise men.


When they reached Ephesus  he left them there, but he himself entered the synagogue and debated with the Jews.


For a person named Demetrius, a silversmith who made silver shrines of Artemis, provided a great deal of business for the craftsmen.


When they heard these things, they were enraged  and gnashed their teeth at him.


Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you with great fury, because he knows his time is short.


They worshipped the dragon  because he gave authority to the beast. And they worshipped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast?  Who is able to wage war against it? ’


These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast.
