6 Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name  of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother or sister  who is idle and does not live  according to the tradition  received  from us.

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles contrary to the teaching that you learned.  Avoid them,


Now I praise you  because you remember me in everything and hold fast to the traditions  just as I delivered  them to you.


When you are assembled in the name of our Lord Jesus, and I am with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,


I wrote to you in a letter not to associate  with sexually immoral people.


Anyone you forgive, I do too. For what I have forgiven #– #if I have forgiven anything #– #it is for your benefit in the presence of Christ,


Therefore, I say this and testify in the Lord: You should no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thoughts.


And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name  of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.


Additionally then, brothers and sisters, we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have received instruction from us on how you should live and please God #– #as you are doing   #– #do this even more.


to seek to lead a quiet life,  to mind your own business,  and to work  with your own hands, as we commanded you,


And we exhort you, brothers and sisters:  warn those who are idle,  comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient  with everyone.


So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm  and hold to the traditions you were taught,  whether by what we said or what we wrote.


For you yourselves know how you should imitate  us: We were not idle among you;


I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels to observe  these things without prejudice, doing nothing out of favouritism.


and constant disagreement among people whose minds are depraved and deprived of the truth, who imagine that godliness is a way to material gain.  ,


holding to the form of godliness but denying its power.  Avoid these people.


I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, who is going to judge  the living and the dead,  and because of his appearing and his kingdom:


If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive  him into your home, and do not greet him;
