But Micaiah said, ‘If you ever return safely, the Lord has not spoken through me.’  Then he said, ‘Listen, all you people! ’  ,


No wisdom, no understanding, and no counsel will prevail against the  Lord.


Like a flitting sparrow or a fluttering swallow, an undeserved curse goes nowhere.


‘Don’t stop him,’ said Jesus, ‘because there is no one who will perform a miracle   in my name who can soon afterwards speak evil of me.


For if I boast a little too much about our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up  and not for tearing you down, I will not be put to shame.


This is why I am writing these things while absent, so that when I am there I may not have to deal harshly with you, in keeping with the authority the Lord gave me for building up  and not for tearing down.


But we pray to God that you do nothing wrong #– #not that we may appear to pass the test, but that you may do what is right,  even though we may appear to fail.


We rejoice when we are weak and you are strong.  We also pray that you become fully mature.


Among them are Hymenaeus  and Alexander,  whom I have delivered to Satan,  so that they may be taught not to blaspheme.
