So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was praying fervently to God for him.


Indeed, everything is for your benefit so that, as grace extends through more and more people, it may cause thanksgiving  to increase to the glory of God.


And as they pray on your behalf, they will have deep affection for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.


because I know that this will lead to my salvation  , through your prayers and help from the Spirit  of Jesus Christ.


At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door  to us for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ,  for which I am in chains,


Brothers and sisters, pray for us also.


In addition, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honoured, just as it was with you,


Meanwhile, also prepare a guest room for me, since I hope that through your prayers I will be restored to you.


Pray for us, for we are convinced that we have a clear conscience, wanting to conduct ourselves honourably in everything.
