Solomon had seventy thousand porters and eighty thousand stonecutters in the mountains,


So I plan to build a temple for the name of the Lord my God,  according to what the Lord promised my father David: “I will put your son on your throne in your place, and he will build the temple for my name.”


Solomon completed his entire palace complex after thirteen years of construction.


But the Lord said to my father David, ‘Since your heart was set on building a temple for my name, you have done well to have this desire.  ,


The Lord has fulfilled what he promised. I have taken the place of my father David, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as the  Lord  promised. I have built the temple for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.


When Solomon finished building the temple of the Lord,  the royal palace, and all that Solomon desired to do,


He is the one who will build a house for my name. He will be my son, and I will be his father. I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.”


A chariot could be imported from Egypt for seven kilograms  of silver and a horse for nearly two kilograms.  In the same way, they exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and to the kings of Aram through their agents.


Hiram also said: Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who made the heavens and the earth!  He gave King David a wise son with insight and understanding,  who will build a temple for the Lord and a royal palace for himself.


then the Lord your God will choose the place to have his name dwell.  Bring there everything I command you: your burnt offerings, sacrifices, offerings of the tenth, personal contributions,  and all your choice offerings you vow to the Lord.


Instead, turn to the place the Lord your God chooses  from all your tribes to put his name for his dwelling and go there.
