7 Husbands,  in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker partner,  showing them honour as co-heirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.

Again, truly I tell you, if two of you on earth agree about any matter that you   pray for, it will be done for you   by my Father in heaven.


A husband should fulfil his marital duty  to his wife, and likewise a wife to her husband.


The Gentiles are co-heirs, members of the same body, and partners in the promise  in Christ Jesus through the gospel.


And don’t grieve God’s Holy Spirit.  You were sealed by him  for the day of redemption.


To sum up, each one of you is to love his wife as himself, and the wife is to respect her husband.


Pray  at all times in the Spirit  with every prayer and request, and stay alert  with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.


Husbands,  love your wives  and don’t be bitter  towards them.


that each of you knows how to control his own body  in holiness and honour,


so that, having been justified by his grace,  we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.


Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who are going to inherit salvation?


In the same way, wives,  submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, even if some disobey the word,  they may be won over  without a word by the way their wives live
