1 Peter 1:24
15 Tagairtí Cros

Their inhabitants have become powerless, dismayed, and ashamed. They are plants of the field, tender grass, grass on the rooftops, blasted by the east wind.

He blossoms like a flower, then withers; he flees like a shadow and does not last.

I #– #I am the one who comforts you. Who are you that you should fear humans who die, or a son of man who is given up like grass?

If that’s how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow, won’t he do much more for you #– #you of little faith?

Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring #– #what your life will be! For you are like vapour that appears for a little while, then vanishes.

And the world with its lust is passing away,  but the one who does the will of God  remains for ever.
