25 Three times a year Solomon offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings on the altar he had built for the Lord, and he burned incense with them in the Lord’s presence.  So he completed the temple.

When Solomon finished building the temple,  ,


In his eleventh year in the month of Bul, which is the eighth month,  the temple was completed in every detail and according to every specification.  So he built it in seven years.


When he finished building the temple,  he panelled it with boards and planks of cedar.


Amram’s sons:  Aaron and Moses. Aaron, along with his descendants,  was set apart for ever to consecrate the most holy things, to burn incense in the presence of the Lord,  to minister to him, and to pronounce blessings in his name for ever.


My sons, don’t be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to serve him, and to be his ministers and burners of incense.’


because they have abandoned me  and burned incense to other gods so as to anger me with all the works of their hands. My wrath will be poured out on this place, and it will not be quenched.”


All of Solomon’s work was carried out from the day the foundation was laid for the Lord’s temple until it was finished. So the Lord’s temple was completed.


Aaron must burn fragrant incense on it; he must burn it every morning when he tends the lamps.


Three times a year  all your males are to appear before the Lord God, the God of Israel.


‘All your males are to appear three times a year  before the Lord your God in the place he chooses: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Shelters. No one is to appear before the Lord empty-handed.
