43 may you hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and do according to all the foreigner asks. Then all peoples of earth will know  your name, to fear you as your people Israel do and to know that this temple I have built bears your name.

At the time for offering the evening sacrifice,  the prophet Elijah approached the altar and said, ‘Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel,  today let it be known  that you are God in Israel and I am your servant, and that at your word I have done all these things.


May all the peoples of the earth know that the Lord is God. There is no other!


Now, Lord our God, please save us from his power so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Lord, are God #– #you alone.


Give thanks  to the Lord; call on his name; proclaim his deeds among the peoples.

They will not harm or destroy each other on my entire holy mountain, for the land will be as full of the knowledge of the  Lord as the sea is filled with water.


For I am already bringing disaster  on the city that bears my name,  so how could you possibly go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth. This is the declaration of the Lord of Armies.”


Look down from your holy dwelling, from heaven, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you swore to our ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey.


For the Lord your God dried up the water of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over,  just as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea, which he dried up before us until we had crossed over.


This is so that all the peoples of the earth may know  that the Lord’s hand is strong,  and so that you may always fear the Lord your God.’


The seventh angel blew his trumpet,  and there were loud voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.


Today, the Lord will hand you over to me. Today, I’ll strike you down, remove your head, and give the corpses  of the Philistine camp to the birds of the sky and the wild creatures of the earth. Then all the world will know that Israel has a God,
