In such circumstances, I saw the wicked buried. They came and went from the holy place,  and they were praised  in the city where they did those things. This too is futile.


Who has counted the dust of Jacob or numbered even quarter of Israel? Let me die the death of the upright; let the end of my life be like theirs.


Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me, and do so severely, if anything but death separates you and me.
