“What did you show them?” Isaiah asked. Hezekiah answered, “I showed them everything in my kingdom.”


Hezekiah thanked the Levites for doing such a good job, leading the celebration. The worshipers celebrated for seven days by offering sacrifices, by eating the sacred meals, and by praising the Lord God of their ancestors.


So I confessed my sins and told them all to you. I said, “I'll tell the Lord each one of my sins.” Then you forgave me and took away my guilt.


I know about my sins, and I cannot forget the burden of my guilt.


If you don't confess your sins, you will be a failure. But God will be merciful if you confess your sins and give them up.


Survivors will be harder to find than the purest gold.


You hope for light, but God is sending darkness. Evening shadows already deepen in the hills. So return to God and confess your sins to him before you trip and fall.


Why was this foreigner the only one who came back to thank God?”


The leaders called the man back and said, “Swear by God to tell the truth! We know that Jesus is a sinner.”


God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this and tell it to others.


Be humble when you correct people who oppose you. Maybe God will lead them to turn to him and learn the truth.


Tell the older men to have self-control and to be serious and sensible. Their faith, love, and patience must never fail.


If you are angry, you cannot do any of the good things God wants done.


“It's true,” Achan answered. “I sinned and disobeyed the Lord God of Israel.


Everyone was scorched by its great heat, and all of them cursed the name of God who had power over these terrible troubles. But no one turned to God and praised him.


“Jonathan,” Saul exclaimed, “tell me what you did!” “I dipped the end of my walking stick in some honey and ate a little. Now you say I have to die!”


So make five gold models of the sores and five gold models of the rats that are wiping out your crops. If you honor the God of Israel with this gift, maybe he will stop causing trouble for you and your gods and your crops.
