In that hour, the disciples drew near to Jesus, saying, "Whom do you consider to be greater in the kingdom of heaven?"


And sitting down, he called the twelve, and he said to them, "If anyone wants to be first, he shall be the last of all and the minister of all."


And they began to inquire among themselves, as to which of them might do this.


Now an idea entered into them, as to which of them was greater.

Charity is patient, is kind. Charity does not envy, does not act wrongly, is not inflated.
