All the nations, which you have made, will draw near and adore in your presence, O Lord. And they will glorify your name.


In that day, the root of Jesse, who stands as a sign among the people, the same the Gentiles shall beseech, and his sepulcher will be glorious.


In that day, the seedling of the Lord will have magnificence and glory, and the fruit of the earth will be greatly-esteemed and a source of joy to those who will have been saved out of Israel.


Therefore, he will say, "In the Lord are my justices and my dominion." They will go to him. And all who fight against him will be confounded.


and so he has said: "It is a small thing that you should be my servant so as to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and so as to convert the dregs of Israel. Behold, I have offered you as a light for the Gentiles, so that you may be my salvation, even to the furthest regions of the earth."


so that you would say to those who are bound, "Go forth!" and to those who are in darkness, "Be released!" They will pasture along the roads, and their pastures will be in every open place.


Pay attention to me, my people, and listen to me, my tribes. For a law will go forth from me, and my judgment will rest as a light for the nations.


The sun will no longer be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon illuminate you. Instead, the Lord will be an everlasting light for you, and your God will be your glory.


The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. A light has risen for the inhabitants of the region of the shadow of death.


See if a nation has ever changed their gods, though certainly those are not gods. Yet truly, my people have exchanged their glory for an idol.


And I will be to it, says the Lord, a wall of fire all around. And in glory, I will be in its midst.


A people who were sitting in darkness have seen a great light. And unto those sitting in the region of the shadow of death, a light has risen."


And the Angel said to them: "Do not be afraid. For, behold, I proclaim to you a great joy, which will be for all the people.


which you have prepared before the face of all peoples:


that the Christ would suffer, and that he would be the first from the resurrection of the dead, and that he would bring light to the people and to the nations."


Therefore, let it be known to you, that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they shall listen to it."


And so, in the same way, it was written: "Whoever glories, should glory in the Lord."


And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine in it. For the glory of God has illuminated it, and the Lamb is its lamp.
