For the Lord knows the way of the just. And the path of the impious will pass away.


I have kept vigil, and I have become like a solitary sparrow on a roof.


Those who sow in tears shall reap in exultation.


The voice of the Lord is over the waters. The God of majesty has thundered. The Lord is over many waters.


And the malicious will not dwell close to you, nor will the unjust endure before your eyes.


My eye has been troubled by rage. I have grown old among all my enemies.


And even if they should nurture their sons, I will make them without children among men. Yes, and woe to them, when I have withdrawn from them.


But he responded by saying, 'Amen I say to you, I do not know you.'


Then he shall also say, to those who will be on his left: 'Depart from me, you accursed ones, into the eternal fire, which was prepared for the devil and his angels.


Then, when the father of the family will have entered and shut the door, you will begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, open to us.' And in response, he will say to you, 'I do not know where you are from.'


For if anyone loves God, he is known by him.


But now, since you have known God, or rather, since you have been known by God: how can you turn away again, to weak and destitute influences, which you desire to serve anew?


But the firm foundation of God remains standing, having this seal: the Lord knows those who are his own, and all who know the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.
