After these things were done, it was reported to Joseph that his father was sick. And taking his two sons Manasseh and Ephraim, he went directly to him.


And when he had entered to him, he said: "Almighty God appeared to me at Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, and he blessed me.


And I revealed to them how the hand of my God was with me for good, and the words of the king, which he had spoken to me. And I said: "Let us rise up, and build." And their hands were strengthened for good.


My soul has thirsted for the strong living God. When will I draw close and appear before the face of God?


My son, if your soul will become wise, my heart will be glad with you.


Concerning the rest, brothers, be strengthened in the Lord, by the power of his virtue.


Instruct Joshua, and encourage and strengthen him. For he shall go before this people, and he shall distribute to them the land that you will see.'
