15 Then Samuel said to Saul, "Why have you disquieted me, so that I would be raised up?" And Saul said: "I am greatly distressed. For the Philistines fight against me, and God has withdrawn from me, and he is not willing to heed me, neither by the hand of prophets, nor by dreams. Therefore, I have summoned you, so that you would reveal to me what I should do."

I will confess to you forever, because you have accomplished it. And I will wait on your name, for it is good in the sight of your saints.


The foolish will be filled up by his own ways. And the good man shall be above him.


And even if they should nurture their sons, I will make them without children among men. Yes, and woe to them, when I have withdrawn from them.


Then he shall also say, to those who will be on his left: 'Depart from me, you accursed ones, into the eternal fire, which was prepared for the devil and his angels.


And she said, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson!" And awaking from sleep, he said in his mind, "I will break away and shake myself free, just as I did before." For he did not know that the Lord had withdrawn from him.


And Saul feared David, because the Lord was with him, but he had withdrawn from Saul.


Therefore, David consulted the Lord, saying, "Shall I go and strike down these Philistines?" And the Lord said to David, "Go, and you shall strike down the Philistines, and you shall save Keilah."


Therefore, David consulted the Lord again. And responding, he said to him: "Rise up, and go into Keilah. For I will deliver the Philistines into your hand."


And the woman said to him, "Whom shall I raise up for you?" And he said, "Raise up for me Samuel."


And Samuel said, "Why do you question me, though the Lord has withdrawn from you, and has crossed over to your rival?


And he consulted the Lord. But he did not respond to him, neither by dreams, nor by priests, nor by prophets.


Therefore, he changed his usual appearance, and he put on other clothes. And he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night. And he said to her, "Divine for me, by your divining spirit, and raise up for me whomever I will tell you."


And David was greatly saddened. And the people were willing to stone him, because the soul of every man was bitter over his sons and daughters. But David was strengthened by the Lord his God.
