And taking Simeon, and binding him in their presence, he ordered his ministers to fill their sacks with wheat, and to replace each one's money in their sacks, and to give them, in addition, provisions for the way. And they did so.


Whoever repays evil for good, evil shall not withdraw from his house.


Do not say, "I will repay evil." Wait for the Lord, and he will free you.


Whoever deceives the just in a malicious way will fall into his own perdition. And the simple shall possess his goods.


And anyone who has left behind home, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for the sake of my name, shall receive one hundred times more, and shall possess eternal life.


Then the King shall say to those who will be on his right: 'Come, you blessed of my Father. Possess the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.


But I say to you, do not resist one who is evil, but if anyone will have struck you on your right cheek, offer to him the other also.


But I say to you: Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. And pray for those who persecute and slander you.


And when he had departed on the way, a certain one, running up and kneeling before him, asked him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do, so that I may secure eternal life?"


And behold, a certain expert in the law rose up, testing him and saying, "Teacher, what must I do to possess eternal life?"


And a certain leader questioned him, saying: "Good teacher, what should I do to possess eternal life?"


Bless those who are persecuting you: bless, and do not curse.


Render to no one harm for harm. Provide good things, not only in the sight of God, but also in the sight of all men.


And we know that, for those who love God, all things work together unto good, for those who, in accordance with his purpose, are called to be saints.


And those whom he predestinated, he also called. And those whom he called, he also justified. And those whom he justified, he also glorified.


This was so that the blessing of Abraham might reach the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, in order that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.


And be kind and merciful to one another, forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven you in Christ.


See to it that no one repays evil for evil to anyone. Instead, always pursue whatever is good, with one another and with all.


For you know that afterwards, when he desired to inherit the benediction, he was rejected. For he found no place for repentance, even though he had sought it with tears.

But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will himself perfect, confirm, and establish us, after a brief time of suffering.
