² H1004And there was of the houseH7586of SaulH5650a servantH8034whose nameH6717was ZibaH7121. And when they had called[H8799] H1732him unto DavidH4428, the kingH559said[H8799] H6717unto him, Art thou ZibaH559? And he said[H8799] H5650, Thy servant is he .

³ H4428And the kingH559said[H8799] H657, Is there notH376yet anyH1004of the houseH7586of SaulH6213, that I may shew[H8799] H2617the kindnessH430of GodH6717unto him? And ZibaH559said[H8799] H4428unto the kingH3083, JonathanH1121hath yet a sonH5223, which is lameH7272on his feet.

⁴ H4428And the kingH559said[H8799] H375unto him, WhereH6717is he? And ZibaH559said[H8799] H4428unto the kingH1004, Behold, he is in the houseH4353of MachirH1121, the sonH5988of AmmielH3810, in Lodebar.

⁵ H4428Then kingH1732DavidH7971sent[H8799] H3947, and fetched[H8799] H1004him out of the houseH4353of MachirH1121, the sonH5988of AmmielH3810, from Lodebar.

⁶ H4648Now when MephiboshethH1121, the sonH3083of JonathanH1121, the sonH7586of SaulH935, was come[H8799] H1732unto DavidH5307, he fell[H8799] H6440on his faceH7812, and did reverence[H8691] H1732. And DavidH559said[H8799] H4648, MephiboshethH559. And he answered[H8799] H5650, Behold thy servant!

⁷ H1732And DavidH559said[H8799] H3372unto him, Fear[H8799] H6213not: for I will surely[H8800] H6213shew[H8799] H2617thee kindnessH3083for JonathanH1thy father'sH7725sake, and will restore[H8689] H7704thee all the landH7586of SaulH1thy fatherH398; and thou shalt eat[H8799] H3899breadH7979at my tableH8548continually.

⁸ H7812And he bowed[H8691] H559himself, and said[H8799] H5650, What is thy servantH6437, that thou shouldest look[H8804] H4191upon such a dead[H8801] H3611dog as I am ?

⁹ H4428Then the kingH7121called[H8799] H6717to ZibaH7586, Saul'sH5288servantH559, and said[H8799] H5414unto him, I have given[H8804] H113unto thy master'sH1121sonH1961all that pertained[H8804] H7586to SaulH1004and to all his house.

¹⁰ H1121Thou therefore, and thy sonsH5650, and thy servantsH5647, shall till[H8804] H127the landH935for him, and thou shalt bring[H8689] H113in the fruits, that thy master'sH1121sonH3899may have foodH398to eat[H8804] H4648: but MephiboshethH113thy master'sH1121sonH398shall eat[H8799] H3899breadH8548alwayH7979at my tableH6717. Now ZibaH2568had fifteenH6240 H1121sonsH6242and twentyH5650servants.

¹¹ H559Then said[H8799] H6717ZibaH4428unto the kingH113, According to all that my lordH4428the kingH6680hath commanded[H8762] H5650his servantH5650, so shall thy servantH6213do[H8799] H4648. As for MephiboshethH398, said the king, he shall eat[H8802] H7979at my tableH259, as oneH4428of the king'sH1121sons.

¹² H4648And MephiboshethH6996had a youngH1121sonH8034, whose nameH4316was MichaH4186. And all that dweltH1004in the houseH6717of ZibaH5650were servantsH4648unto Mephibosheth.

¹³ H4648So MephiboshethH3427dwelt[H8802] H3389in JerusalemH398: for he did eat[H8802] H8548continuallyH4428at the king'sH7979tableH6455; and was lameH8147on bothH7272his feet.
