Psalm 110 - Easy To Read Version

¹ The Lord said to my master,\par “Sit by me at my right side,\par while I put your enemies\par under your control. {\cf2\super [572]} ”\par

² The Lord will help your kingdom grow.\par Your kingdom will start at Zion, {\cf2\super [573]} \par and \{it will grow until\} you rule\par your enemies in their own countries!\par

³ Your people will volunteer\par when you gather your army together.\par They will wear their special clothes\par and meet together early in the morning,\par Those young men will be\par \{all around you\} like dew on the ground. {\cf2\super [574]} \par

⁴ The Lord made a promise,\par and he will not change his mind.\par “You are a priest forever—\par the kind of priest Melchizedek was.”\par

⁵ My Master is at your right side.\par He will defeat the other kings when he becomes angry.\par

⁶ God will judge the nations.\par The ground will be covered\par with dead bodies.\par And God will punish the leaders\par of powerful nations.\par

⁷ The king will drink from a stream\par on the way.\par Then he will lift his head\par and become strong! {\cf2\super [575]} \par
