Psalm 101 - Easy To Read Version

¹ I will sing about love and fairness.\par Lord, I will sing to you.\par

² I will carefully live a pure life.\par I will live a pure life in my house.\par Lord, when will you come to me?\par

³ I will not have any idols {\cf2\super [536]} in front of me.\par I hate people turning against you like that.\par I will not do that!\par

⁴ I will be honest.\par I will not do evil things.\par

⁵ If any person secretly says bad things\par about his neighbor,\par I will stop that person.\par I will not allow people to be proud\par and think they are better than other people.\par

⁶ I will look throughout the country\par for people who can be trusted.\par And I will let only those people serve me.\par Only people who live pure lives\par can be my servants.\par

⁷ I will not let liars live in my house.\par I will not let liars stay near me.\par

⁸ I will always destroy bad people\par living in this country.\par I will force the evil people\par to leave the Lord’s city.\par
