The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. The obedience of the peoples will be to him.


It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious.


But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, being small among the clans of Judah, out of you one will come out to me who is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings out are from of old, from ancient times.


He will stand and shepherd in the strength of YHWH, in the majesty of the name of YHWH his God. They will live, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth.


Edom will be a possession. Seir, his enemy, will also be a possession, while Israel does valiantly.


He looked at Amalek, and took up his parable, and said, “Amalek was the first of the nations, but his future is destruction.”


They will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”


Then Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.


Therefore he said, “A man of noble birth went into a far country to receive an empire for himself and then to return.


But those enemies of mine who didn’t want me to be king over them—y’all bring them and kill them in front of me.’”

But of the Son ʜᴇ says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your empire.


who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God with angels, authorities, and powers arranged as subject to him.


On his garment and on his thigh he has a name written, “king of kings and lord of lords.”
