Timna was concubine to Eliphaz, Esau’s son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek. These are the descendants of Adah, Esau’s wife.


They struck the remnant of the Amalekites who escaped, and have lived there to this day.


After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes who were with him.


The king commanded this to be done. A decree was given out in Susa; and they hanged Haman’s ten sons.


YHWH said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will wipe-wipe the memory of Amalek from under the sky.”


He said, “Y’H has sworn: ‘YHWH will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.’”


Then Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim.


One who comes from Jacob will have dominion, he will destroy the remnant from the city.”


But ships will come from the coast of Kittim. They will afflict Asshur and Eber. So they also will come to destruction.”


Water will flow from his buckets. His seed will be in many waters. His king will be higher than Agag. His kingdom will be exalted.


Whenever Israel planted crops, the Midianites, the Amalekites, and the children of the east came up against them.


He did valiantly and struck the Amalekites, and delivered Israel out of the hands of those who plundered them.


YHWH Almighty says, ‘I remember what Amalek did to Israel, how he set himself against him on the way when he came up out of Egypt.


When David and his men had come to Ziklag on the third day, the Amalekites had made a raid on the South and on Ziklag, and had struck Ziklag and burned it with fire,


David struck them from the twilight even to the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped from there, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled.
