Like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the undeserved curse doesn’t come to rest.


who frustrates the signs of the liars, and makes diviners mad; who turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish;


God said to Balaam, “You must not go with them. You must not curse the people, for they are blessed.”


Please come now therefore, and curse this people for me, because they are too powerful for me. Perhaps I may be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that the one who you bless is blessed, and the one who you curse is cursed.”
