Henceforth the children of Israel must not come near the Tent of Meeting, or they bear sin and die.
They are to keep your commands and the duty of the whole Tent, but they must not come near to the vessels of the sanctuary and to the altar. Otherwise both they and y’all will die.
They are to be joined with you and be responsible of the Tent of Meeting, for all the service of the Tent. A stranger may not come near to y’all.

Moses, Aaron, and his sons, who keep the requirements of the sanctuary for the duty of the children of Israel, camped before the tabernacle eastward, in front of the Tent of Meeting toward the sunrise. Any outsider who approaches was to be put to death.
He struck of the men of Beth Shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of YHWH, he struck fifty thousand seventy of the men. Then the people mourned, because YHWH had struck the people with a great slaughter.
