When he had entered the temple courts, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him while he was teaching, and said, “By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?”


While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, arrived with a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent by the chief priests and elders of the people.


He left that place and came into the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan. Again, crowds gathered around him, and as was his custom, he began to teach them.


Jesus was teaching in the temple, saying, “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?


He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people were trying to destroy him.


One day while Jesus was teaching the people in the temple and proclaiming the good news, the chief priests, and elders came to him


He rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant, and then sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him.


Now when the feast was halfway through, Jesus went up into the temple and taught.


Then Jesus, while teaching in temple, cried out, “Y’all know me, and y’all know where I am from. I have not come of myself, but ʜᴇ who sent me is true. Y’all don’t know ʜɪᴍ.


Very early in the morning, he went to the temple again, and all the people came to him. He sat down and taught them.


Jesus spoke these words near the offering box as he taught in the temple. Yet no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come.
