Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going.


From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even to this day, these twenty-three years, the word of YHWH has come to me, and I have spoken to y’all again and again, but y’all have not listened.


They have turned their backs to me, and not their faces. Although I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not listened to receive instruction.


However I sent to y’all all my servants the prophets, again and again, saying, “Please y’all! Don’t do this disgusting thing that I hate.”


At that moment Jesus said to the crowd, “Have y’all come out with swords and clubs to capture me like a robber? Every day I sat in the temple teaching, and you didn’t arrest me.


Every day Jesus was teaching in the temple, and every night he would go out and spend the night on the what is called the Mount of Olives.


All the people came early in the morning to hear him in the temple.


He rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant, and then sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him.


He got into Simon’s boat and asked him to put out a little from the land. Then he sat down and taught the crowd from the boat.


Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of ʜɪᴍ who sent me and to accomplish ʜɪꜱ work.


Jesus spoke these words near the offering box as he taught in the temple. Yet no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come.


The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand in the middle,


Hearing this, they entered the temple at daybreak and began teaching. Now when the high priest and those who were with him arrived, they called together the Sanhedrin—the entire high council of the sons of Israel—and they sent orders to the prison to have them brought.
