“You must not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread. The sacrifice of the feast of the Passover must not be left to the morning.


Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.


While they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Humanity is about to be delivered up into the hands of men.


saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” But they said, “What is that to us? You take care of that yourself.”


He said to them, “I have desiringly-desired to eat this Passover with y’all before I suffer.


Now the Passover of the Jews was near. Many went up from the country to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves.


Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom he raised from the dead.


Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples.


This happened to fulfill the word of Jesus indicating what kind of death he would die.


When the Jewish Passover was near, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
